Yonela Makoba

Yonela Makoba a multi-disciplinary artist based in Cape Town.

Makoba works in multiple fields in creative industries doing styling, creative direction, and hairstyling.Her work is inspired by re-imaging new realities of African bodies, imagery that celebrates and frees the African. She has editorials featured on local and international publications such as Unlabelled magazine, Bubblegum club, Vogue Italia. She has styled campaigns and commercials for VW easy drive local commercial, Magnum, Essence, Glo Telecommunications, and Energy Malt to mention a few.
