Tanith Swinford

South African born creative Tanith Swinford is a strategist and stylist. She is also a fashion designer and co-founder of the ethical luxury denim brand Jota-Kena.

Both her design work and styling have been featured in several fashion publications including British Vogue, L’Officiel, Cake, Client, Flanelle, Elle, & Marie Claire. She has worked with brands such as Adidas, Rich Mnisi and Jan The Journal

Tanith’s background includes a degree in Business and Economics and working in Public Relations in the luxury goods industry for brands such as Louis Vuitton.

This foundational experience combined with extensive travels and a joyous, hands-on approach has certainly given her a well-rounded insider’s look into many facets of the global fashion industry. However it is her innate curiosity and desire to grow and learn that have her continually immersed in the world of art, design, human relations and fashion.

From liaising with clients and creative teams to conceptualising and executing imaginative briefs, working abroad and being invited to the likes of Milan Fashion Week, her joy and peaceful demeanour is always evident and contagious in what she does.

A visionary never short of ideas, Tanith strives toward the big picture without neglecting the details, believing fully that in both work and life, greatness is a lot of small things done well.
