Dalton Smit
With an extensive background in fashion design and styling, Dalton is a dynamic creative, challenging traditional norms and redefining concepts of self-expression in fashion. Having studied Fashion Design at Nelson Mandela University for eight years, he obtained a Master’s Degree in Fashion Design in 2021, with his master’s research study focusing on reimagining Afrikaner masculinity through conceptual fashion design.
Having gained valuable experience through internships at prestigious institutions such as Preen by Thornton Bregazzi in London and working backstage at London Fashion Week, Dalton has cultivated a diverse perspective on fashion and styling.
His styling and design work has been featured in fashion publications, including Vanity Teen, Kaltblut Magazine, Vogue Portugal, Slippage Magazine, The Flow House Magazine, Mob Journal, Pansy Magazine, and Lewis Magazine.
Dalton has collaborated with photographers such as Michael Oliver Love, Luke Houba, Francois Visser, Michael Groeger, Zander Opperman, Jacobus Snyman, and Aart Verrips.
